Jessica Rabbit is a fictional character in the novel Who Censored Roger Rabbit? and its film adaptation, Who Framed Roger Rabbit. She is depicted as Roger's human toon wife in various Roger Rabbit media. Wednesday Adams.
Adams family shoot , recreating a scene with Wednesday Adams. This masterpiece was created by taking multiple captures some were styled and captured in studio whilst others were captured on location. Each frame was carefully planed and executed to have a specific look and feel. Close to 135 hours went into the production of the final image you see below. Forest Elf.
Elven forest scene. Inspired from the writings of John Ronald Reuel Tolkien Writer and philologist. Elves were the fairest creatures in Arda, a far more beautiful race than Mankind. Almost all of the Vanyar had light-coloured, yellow or deep golden hair. The name Vanyar means "the Fair" in Quenya with the primary sense of "pale" or "light-coloured" and the secondary sense of beautiful. Our modern day Vanyar was Created and Captured on location . Set in the heart of a thick leafy green forest canopy with just enough daylight breaking through the cracks to assist. A mix of off camera fill flash and a reflector to create a soft but natural look and feel. Wardrobe, styling and minimal make-up was done on location to assist the look and feel. 1920s Flapper.
Old soul in a modern world. The “Roaring 20s" or "Jazz Age." a decade of prosperity and dissipation, and of jazz bands, bootleggers, raccoon coats, bathtub gin, flappers, flagpole sitters, bootleggers, and marathon dancers. This glamorous Flapper depiction of the roaring 20s was shot on location using a Beauty ring light and a white card . 1860 whisky bar.
1850s–1860s blues and whisky bars. Early American Photography on Paper uses a process called daguerreotype , employing a polished silver-plated sheet of copper. This was the dominant form of photography for the first twenty years of picture making in the United States. This timeless capture was processed with a aged sepia toned look to add to the mood and time frame. Captured on location with a mix of off camera flash and a hint of natural light. Thug life.
Though the term thug life is commonly misinterpreted to mean “criminal life,” this is not actually the intention of the phrase. Thug life is a term used with pride, to describe a person or in our case Dog who started out with nothing and built themselves up to be something. Shoot with Pablo our hairless Mexican adoption. Pablo has truly come a long way since we adapted him. He has stolen all our hearts along the way. Location shoot. Captured in parking basement Pablo was lit using a white shoot through umbrella on low power as to not cause any discomfort or to startle him. High ISO adds a bit of grit and a fun rawness to the capture. Styling and wardrobe was curated inhouse.
Anime Princess.
This almost computer generated Capture was shot on location. A hint of fill flash, the assistance of a Diffuser Dome ,silver reflector and back lighting. Here the silver reflector aided greatly with creating a Milky skin tone. (No AI was employed to create any part of the image )
Blood Sport.
Inspired by the 1988 Movie Blood Sport. In the movie Bloodsport, Kumite is the name given to the deadly, underground, full-contact fighting tournament. Kung Fu, Muay Thai, Ninjitsu and wrestling were the disciplines used today we call this MMA. Here Processional MMA Fighter IRVING LE FLEUR performs what is knows as “REI” (Bowing before the fight) This moody portrayal of a dark fighting arena was shot in studio. 3 studio lights and black V flats were used to create a tense gritty mood. The year of the Dragon
In Celebration with the Chinese new year , opening of Dawn Restaurant and the year of the dragon. The dragon, also known as loong, is the fifth of the 12-year cycle of animals that appear in the Chinese zodiac related to the Chinese calendar. The Year of the Dragon is associated with the Earthly Branch symbol 辰. Wikipedia Tea is a sign of hospitality Hospitality is important in Chinese culture, and offering tea to a guest is considered customary practice. A guest is expected to accept the tea and take at least a sip as a sign of appreciation.
Bubblegum.
“The decade of decadence", A whimsical trip back to the 80s cassette boom boxes and mixtapes, Walkman personal stereos, video games brought the rise of PAC -MAN and early home computers. A time when pop culture really became it's own. Shot at my home studio with a white umbrella and a beauty light. Kurt Cobain.
Grunge music hit the mainstream in the early 1990s with bands such as Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam, and Nirvana being signed to major record labels. Grunge fashion began to break into mainstream fashion in mid-1992 for both sexes and peaked in late 1993 and early 1994. South African Singer ,Artist Elandré Schwartz. Shot to look like a Kurt Cobain snap shot. Image captured with very low available light giving way to a grungy more organic finish to the image. Processed as black and white. The second image was created to have a high grain film finish still in keeping with the 90s grunge era. Intentional softer focus was employed and Color balance shifted to create a in camera effect. Madonna.
A tribute to a bygone era. The 80s came and changed everything. By 1984, Madonna was forging her way forward with her unique look of blown curly hair ,mix matched clothes and bangles, eclectic, colorful, thrown-together urban look. This would make her an icon for a new generation of youngsters. Shot as a black and white to ad drama and allow for the imagination to run wild with the flurry of possible colors.
